Bearing and Gear Inspection Services Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie performs nearly 8000 annual inspections on a variety of mechanical drive gear and bearing systems including; CFM56 Accessory, Transfer, and Inlet Gearbox configurations, CF34 Accessory Gearbox, CT7 Propeller Gearbox, and JT8 Accessory Gearbox. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie utilizes an M&M Model 3515 Gear Analyzer, Model BA 96-2 integrated with Model 20-3D BII Bearing Analyzer and Helios ID /OD Automated Inspection Equipment.
Engine Monitoring Systems Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie's Dual Station Test Stand has programmed capability to functionally test a wide variety of engine monitoring components; from oil pressure, oil quantity, Compressor and Fan Inlet Temp Sensors. Data acquisition and control systems provide fully automated testing and data logging for various systems control Variable Stator, Guide Vane Actuators and Bypass and Active Clearance Control Valves. All major accessories that utilize LVDT feedback mechanisms are tested on this modern Test Stand. In the top right quadrant of this chart, is Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie's Vibration and Accelerometer Test Stand. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie performs functional vibration test, dunk test, conductivity test, and vibration dampener repair and replacement on all Vibrometer and Endevco's Vibration Sensors.
Fuel Systems Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie has a very diverse fuel component capability. 5 Mechanics with 150 years combined experience perform test repair and overhaul of Ametek and other Fuel Flow Transmitters, Main Engine Fuel Pumps, Main Engine Controls, and Hydromechanical Units. Various units of GE's CFM56, CF6, CF34, IAE's V2500 and P&W engine fuel components are also serviced. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie has extensive Fuel Nozzle experience. At its peak production rate, we have cleaned, flowed and repaired 350 sets per year of GE's CFM56 Nozzles. Capability currently includes CFM, CF6, CF34 Parker and Woodward's Textron Fuel System Designs. Tip repair and full overhaul are available to support this product offering.
Gearboxes A unique capability, shown here is a 4 square mechanical drive Propeller Gearbox Test Stand. At over $1M in cost, Grand Prairie is approved by GE to overhaul the CT7 PGB used on the commercial Saab 340 and the Casa CN 235 This rig simulates full takeoff loads, monitors system lubrication performance from a temperature, pressure and flow stand point, as well as three axis monitoring. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie services 150 CT7 Gearboxes per year, is capable of performing the low to high horsepower conversion and the bulkhead repair. Additionally, we operate a M&M gear analyzer to perform surface involute inspection for worn gear teeth, a precursor to potential failure mod.
Generators Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie’s ability to weld magnesium is a major advantage for CSD service. Housings that routinely run $10-$15K for replacement that have been subject to over-torquing resulting in cracks in the bolt hole regions can be salvaged at fractions of replacement cost. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie’s TAT ranges from 5 days for test to 15-18 days for minor/ major repairs. GP's low overhead structure allows it to pass along savings on work scopes that can be labor intensive saving customers thousands of dollars.
Hydraulics Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie’s Hydraulic Test Cell is powered by a very high powered vari drive pump, Grand Prairie has dynamic pressure capability to 5000 PSI and 10,000 PSI Static Loads.
Lube Pumps Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie's Lube & Scavenge and Sump Pump test, repair and overhaul spans most modern commercial engines. Extensive inventory supports a TAT of 10 days on most pumps. Additionally, exchange units are available for AOG situations. With clean, flow, and OEM filter replacement on CFM 56 Pumps below $1000, our pricing cannot be beat. On the V2500, Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie’s predecessors working in conjunction with epoxy/epoly repair sources have saved customers hundreds of thousands of $$ on housing salvage. We are one of three approved sources for these pumps; your choices are Fiat, IHI, or Triumph Accessory Services – Grand Prairie. Grand Prairie has overhauled hundreds of pumps since the early 1990's. Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie also performs test, repair and overhaul on the Parker CF34 Lube and Scavenge Pump. Tested at operating temperature, this is an added feature built into our test stand.

Main Engine Controls New in 2004 was Bauer's "State of the Art" Main Engine Control Test Stand. Capability for all GE, RR and P&W engine controls has been programmed into the test box. This MEC Bench has also been programmed to perform functional tests on every revenue producing commercial A/C Fuel Flow Transmitters. The flow meters in the rig are the most sensitive available for production testing. Added in 2005 the CT7 / T700 Hydro Mechanical Unit. The HMU is the controller for the GE powered Saab 340, CN235 and a variety of military helicopter applications with a worldwide installed base in the thousands. Tooling development is underway and will proceed throughout the year with the CFM56-3 coming on-line in 2007.
Non-Destructive Testing Quality is always given the highest priority at Triumph Accessory Services - Grand Prairie. This is evidenced in the non-Destructive testing department with a state of the art multi-directional magnetic particle machine, Level 2 and level 3 fluorescent penetrant lines meeting the most stringent customer requirements and an on site level 3 inspector who ensures the highest quality inspections are performed on each and every part.
Pneumatics Triumph Accessory Services – Grand Prairie’s high temperature, high flow air capability allows it to service Pneumatic Bleed, Shutoff, Anti Ice and Regulator Valves. Its integrated system features a gas and electric heater system. We have a broad range of OEM Heat Exchanger duct systems to simulate Air Craft climate control conditions in the testing of most Air cycle Machines. We test, repair and overhaul on every pneumatic starter below GE-90 thrust class. This includes GE's CF34, CFM, CF6-6/50/80, V2500, JT8, PW2000, PW4000 and Rolls Royce's RB211 and Trent Family starters.
